The next monthly meeting of the Association is this Tuesday (18/02/2014) at 7.30pm. There will be a presentation by representatives of the Baptist Church, West Melbourne regarding the development of their site on corner of Curzon, King and Hawke Streets. Agenda for November 2013 general meeting. East/West Link presentation
The next monthly meeting of the Association is this Tuesday (19/11/2013) at 7.30pm. The venue is the Dewey Common, Bastow Institute, 601 Queensberry Street, North Melbourne (enter from Union Street to the west with access for all). This is a very important meeting as the Linking Melbourne Authority will present on the East/West Link Proposal and the Comprehensive Impact Statement (C.I.S.) released earlier this month. Agenda for October 2013 general meeting
[gview file="https://nwma.org.au/wp-content/uploads/AgendaGeneralMeeting-151013.pdf"] Dear Members and Supporters, On the 26 September we advised you that the monthly NWMA meeting in October was to be addressed by the Linking Melbourne Authority. At our Planning meeting last Tuesday October 1, we discussed correspondence from the LMA. They suggested that they defer their presentation from the October meeting to our November monthly meeting, where they can report in detail due to the release of the Comprehensive Impact Statement (CIS) for the East West Link in early November. A quick reminder that, David Mayes, Manager Strategic Planning, City of Melbourne has been invited to talk and to answer questions about Planning Scheme Amendment C207/207 Arden-Macaulay Heritage. This is a very important issue as it is dealing with the Arden-Macaulay Structure Plan area. Heritage has been very important in the past for the Association and members will see this meeting as crutial.
