Intake substation
In this evening's (19 Nov. 2019) meeting, Lucy Mackenzie Worters (and helpers) from Metro Tunnel Cross Yarra Partnership gave us a short presentation on the intake substation that will link the new North Melbourne Station to the West Melbourne Terminal Station. Melbourne Metro Rail Project concerns
At last Tuesday’s monthly meeting of the Association, a number of concerned residents attended to raise the above issue. The Association has also been approached by other residents and property owners regarding the Melbourne Metro Rail Project and advice has been provided. Documentation has also been circulated by the Association when it has been provided to us by the Authority. It is clear that many residents and property owners are concerned about the impact of this project on our community, given the uncertainty of significant aspects of the project, such as the tunnel alignment and depth.
