About the North & West Melbourne Association

INTRO

The North & West Melbourne Association (NWMA) is a community-based organisation representing residents of North and West Melbourne.
We provide a voice for the local community on matters that affect the liveability, character, and future of our neighbourhood.

WHAT WE DO

NWMA engages with a range of local issues, including planning and development, heritage, infrastructure, and community amenity.

Our work includes:

  • Reviewing planning strategies, proposals and applications
  • Making submissions to local and state governments
  • Raising issues of concern identified by residents

  • Sharing information and updates with the community

We aim to contribute constructively to decision-making processes while representing the interests of residents.

OUR APPROACH

We are guided by a commitment to thoughtful, respectful, and informed engagement.

We seek to:
